Argentum’s Silver PAC is a non-partisan fund which supports Argentum’s grassroots advocacy and paid lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill.
The Silver PAC is Argentum’s primary, bi-partisan tool for directly supporting lawmakers who shape the policy landscape and champion issues of importance for the senior living community. Through political contributions made from Silver PAC, the Argentum Public Policy team and Argentum members can gain access to leading lawmakers at the federal and state level to educate them about the senior living industry and influence legislation that affects senior living providers.
Silver PAC is a federally registered political committee and the contributions it receives are used to support federal candidates and committees. Contributions to Silver PAC are voluntary and any person has the right to refuse to contribute without reprisal. The contribution guidelines are merely suggestions and a person may contribute more, less or not at all without concern of favor or disadvantage by Argentum. Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes. Federal law requires Silver PAC to request the name, address, occupation, and employer for each person whose contributions exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00) in a calendar year.
